If you know Banana Republic then you know their clothes are crisp, colorful, simple, yet fabulous. Now add a little 1960’s to their line and you have the collaboration with an amazing show, Mad Men.
I am particularly excited about this because I am a fan of vintage clothing from the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s. Janie Bryant who is the mastermind and award winning costume designer for AMC’s Mad Men has teamed up with Banana Republic’s creative director to come up with 65 pieces for both men and women inspired by the show circa 1960’s.
Be on the look out online and in stores as this collaboration is due to release in August 2011.
