29 Cosmetics – Review

29 is a cosmetics and skin care company created by Lydia Mondavi.  You may recognize Lydia’s last name as one of the renown wine makers here in the country.  Lydia took advantage of using grape seeds (an anti-oxidant) as one of the key ingredients in her cosmetics and skin care products to help protect and preserve the dreaded aging process.  I firmly believe that having a consistent skin care regimen, day and night will help keep our skin looking fresh, healthy and most of all keeps it looking young.  I’m happy to share the two products in 29’s skin care line that we had the opportunity to try and can now share with you.

Lightweight and easily absorbed by the skin, this Eye Emulsion by 29 appears to literally preserve the skin around the eyes. I used the Eye Emulsion for a week and found that it reduced puffiness and redness around my eyes as well as help reduce the appearance of fine lines, just as the product promises!  A small amount of this Eye Emulsion goes a long way so use conservatively.

I was excited to try this serum because it is a product that combines both moisturizer and serum, and when trying to get ready in the morning, I welcome any product that can save me time. My skin is on the oily side and I was able to use this light Serum Extract in the winter on it’s own without any additional moisturizer which also makes it great to use in warmer, more humid climates. At the end of the day, my skin still looked dewy and hydrated, and I received compliments about my skin = winning!  Made with botanical derived ingredients it seems to work for all skin types but is probably best for oily skin, but ask for a sample and see for yourself if it works with your skin before committing to the purchase.
