If you missed out on grabbing these beauties at Juicy Couture during the crazy holiday season, you may still be in luck online or at the stores because they are all on sale. During the holidays, Juicy Couture collaborated with queen of nails, Debbrah Lippmann and celebrity make up artist, Troy Surratt. Here are the pieces from the collaboration.
TROY SURRATT LIP GLOSS SET
A trio of lip glosses that are packaged in individual sliding tins that come in 3 different flavors. From Vanilla Shake (top), Raspberry (middle) to Strawberry (bottom), you can’t go wrong with having one of these in your ‘go to’ bag. Each are translucent with a shimmery finish. Original retail price $36.00 for the set.
HAND WARMERS & NAIL POLISH SET – Believe
Believe polish has a combination of silver and gold with an opalescent finish to it. Had to use at least two coats to see the true look of the polish. The hand warmers are a personal favorite as it’s functional, yet unbelievably stylish at the same time. It’s finished with multi-tone rhinestones shaped as a bow. I’ve gotten so many compliments after having worn it for just a day. I like how you can wear the hand warmers with the rhinestones on your wrist or on your knuckles (as seen above).
HAND WARMERS & NAIL POLISH SET – Jewel in the Crown
Jewel in the Crown polish is a metallic pewter with a small hint of shimmer to the finish. It comes with the black hand warmer (as seen in the photo). Original retail price for the Hand Warmer and Nail Polish Set was $68.00. These are still available online at Nordstrom.com for $44.90.
TROY SURRATT LIP GLOSS & DEBORAH LIPPMANN NAIL POLISH SET
This set includes the 24 Karat Couture Lip Gloss with a sheer gold, shimmery finish along with Here Comes the Queen Nail Polish which is a sheer gold, glittery finish. Again, I had to apply about two coats of the nail polish to get the full look that I wanted. Original retail price was $48.00 and is now marked down to $14.99 at various Juicy locations that still carry this item.
BELIEVE AND HERE COMES THE QUEEN NAIL POLISH
My overall take on the collection is…
I loved how Juicy Couture collaborated with these two well known names in the beauty industry. These are adorable and cute sets, however, for the original prices, I don’t think it was as big of a hit as expected. The hand warmer set alone was almost $70.00 – not really worth purchasing (in my book) but I really do like the look and charm of wearing either the khaki or black hand warmers. The nail polishes (Believe and Jewel in the Crown) were too close in color for me and Here Comes the Queen was too sheer for my taste. The lip gloss set was one of my favorites from the collaboration.
