Joseph Altuzarra at the Asian Art Museum Hosted by Saks Fifth Avenue

On Monday, October 18th, San Francisco was graced with a beautiful fashion event, to benefit a spectacular venue.  The talented designer himself, Joseph Altuzarra graced us with his Spring 2017 & Exclusive Capsule Collection at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco hosted by Saks Fifth Avenue.

It was my first time seeing the Asian Art Museum and I must say, I was stunned the minute I walked in…the gorgeous staircase alone was breathtaking.  We were treated to a cocktail reception prior to the fashion show along with remarkable jewels from designer, Nini Hale of NINI Jewels.  I loved how the guests surrounded the jewelry display while being able to try on Nini’s one of a kind pieces. Shortly after, we were all directed upstairs to the Samsung Hall as the fashion show was ready to commence.

The Altuzarra Spring 2017 & Exclusive Capsule Collection showcased 30 looks which were effortless pieces that can easily become a staple in your wardrobe for the next season. My personal favorites were the black studded skirt (4 rows down to the left), the striped off the shoulder dress (8 rows down to the right) and of course the last look which stole the show was the pineapple and lemon embroidered gown.

Needless to say, the collection did not disappoint the sold out crowd of 300 guests (including myself). I overheard so many women talking about their favorite looks from the runway and couldn’t wait to get their hands on them. Following the show, the guests returned downstairs for dinner, & cocktails.
