I was fortunate enough to get my hands on several pieces from the Fall/Winter collection 2011 from Improvd.  Recently started in Spring 2010, the two designers, Sam Ben-Avraham and Valentino Vettori wanted to give a collection that was timeless, and certainly something true and simple.  The pieces I am able to share with you are certainly stylish, yet affordable couture wear.  Improvd calls it their Avant-Garde basics.

I love how lightweight the Tulip top is.  The twist on the neckline makes for a more modern turtle neck look.  My favorite part about this top is the semi-sheer detailing on the sleeves.  This is a perfect top to wear with plain leggings, skinny demins or even a dark maxi.

The Thia top is designed smiliar to the Tulip top, however, does not have the sheer detail on the sleeves.  It too is lightweight with ribbed detailing all around.

I like the moto style of the jacket and the multi-row stitching detailing on the bodice along with the sleeves.  Asymmetrical zipper in the front and zipper detailing closures on the sleeves.  I personally love the button snap collar which gives the jacket a true motorcycle look.  The jacket itself feels like second skin – ultra soft & smooth.

This top happens to be one of my favorites as it can be worn with just about anything.  I personally love the deep cowl neckline along with the asymmetrical cut.  Great to wear with textured leggings or skinny denim pants, knee to thigh high boots or even black peep toe pumps.

Ultra soft jersey cowl neck dress is perfect to wear for a night out.  The asymmetrical detail of this dress makes it stand out in the crowd.  This certainly can be added to your LBD collection.
