For all of you mascara fanatics out there, get your lashes ready as Benefit Cosmetics’ new Roller Lash will be available on February 27, 2015.
I had the opportunity to try out the new mascara before it hit the stores and here’s my take on it. Benefit’s new Roller Lash Mascara calls for lifting and curling the lash without the help of (what I can’t live without) the lash curlers.
After opening up the sleek, yet ultra cute packaging, I did notice the slightly angled and short bristled wand. I personally started appreciating the short bristle mascara wands because I feel it can really catch your lashes from the waterline, all the way to the tips. While applying Roller Lash, I didn’t notice any real “curling” going on, however I did see my lashes lift with a couple of coats. If you’re familiar with the brand, then you should be familiar with another popular mascara of theirs called, They’re Real. I felt that Roller Lash is very similar to its sister mascara, however lengthens more without the huge volume and thickness of They’re Real.
I do say that it’s worth a try however, if you have shorter, more straight lashes, don’t get your hopes up. It most likely won’t “curl” your lashes without the help of a lash curler.
